AISHA CAN'T FLY AWAY

A movie by MORAD MOSTAFA

The film follows the story of Aisha, a 26-year-old immigrant care assistant living in Ain-shams, a district of Cairo home to a large community of African migrants.
Through her eyes, the film explores the complex dynamics of a world where the indifference of the authorities to the violent tensions between Egyptians and different African nationalities has allowed various gangs to take control. The situation quickly turns sour when one of them offers Aisha security in exchange for a favor.
