Colors Under The Sky

A film by Reema Mahmoud

Aya, a 22-year-old artist from Gaza, lost her father and brother and was displaced with her mother to a tent in Rafah. The film follows her journey as she searches for a composer and a studio to record her new song amid the rubble after setting herself a daunting challenge: to compose, sing, and record her new song. Will Aya succeed in realizing her dream?

"Colors Under The Sky", directed by Reema Mahmoud, is a short film that is part of the From Ground Zero + project, initiated by Rashid Masharawi, which presents a series of varied portraits of life in Gaza.
