Coproduit par Pivonka, Naoko Films et Dérives en association avec Les Films d’Ici et Coorigines Production, le documentaire avait été projetté à l'ACID 2022.

After TIFF, the movie From Ground Zero is officially selected to represent Palestine at the Oscars 2025.

A Masharawi Fund project

From Ground Zero is the result of an initiative launched by the Masharawi Fund for Gaza filmmakers, established in November 2023. The fund's mission is to support and promote emerging artistic voices from Gaza, a territory often under-represented in the global cinematic landscape.

A testimony through art

This collection offers a unique insight into the daily lives of Gaza's inhabitants, their fears, dreams and hopes in the midst of difficult living conditions. The film From Ground Zero reveals the wealth of talent in Gaza, in the form of a 112-minutes feature divided into two parts and made up of 22 short films.
